Handbags, Handbags, and MORE Handbags!!!
Take a look at this bag! This is one of the most basic bags that Kate Spade designs. It is the simple box square design with a metal handle. The metal handle is what sets the bag apart from other "normal" bags. How many other designers would think to make a bag with a metal handle?! Kate Spade is a fairly new designer who is fun and fresh and is not afraid to use fun and funky fresh colors! This bag is also available in other colors such as... orange, black, green, and yellow. Now this blog is going to be all about handbags, and contain a lot of different pictures of my favorite Kate Spade handbags. So here we go. Here is my next favorite bag that I am sure all of you will love. I am absolutely obsessed with this next bag to the right. It is a bag, but looks like an owl! I love this and think that it is one of the cutest bags available out there. Granted, this bag will set you back around three hundred dollars, but if you have the extra money, it is definitely worth it!
The 'Kate Spade New York' logo is a small, subtle impression on the front of the items and is not particularly noticeable.
A little history on Kate Spade: Kate's simple yet elegant and non-pretentious designs may have been influenced by the fact that when she arrived in New York she had $2 in her pocket. That didn't stop her from becoming the Fashion Editor at Mademoiselle and eventually starting her own handbag company with her husband, Andy Spade. Kate (Katherine Noel Brosnahan) used her first name and her husband's last name to create a new, groud-breaking, line of handbags that made simple and understanted chic. All of the bags are meticulously crafted in Italy and many are lined with a supple, soft suede. They wear well (especially the 'crinkled leather' styles) and, since Kate Spade handbags are both modern and classic--but not trendy--they will never go out of style.

Gucci
Well hello there Gucci,
Gucci is often referred to the House of Gucci. Gucci was founded in 1921. Let's take a look at some of the designs that are within the Gucci name tag. Much like the Calvin Klein label, Gucci is very racy. In a recent ad for the company, they actually featured a woman who had a G shaved into her pubic hair. In France, that may be acceptable, but in the United States, it is very frowned upon. Let's take a look at the outfits featured in the above ad. The woman is wearing a dazzling gold mini long sleeved dress. The dress has some blue accents underneath the roaching of the golden fabric. You can tell by the ad that sex appeal is how they get a lot of their business, and their ads almost always have some form of a sexual message within them. Now let's take a look at the man in the ad. He is wearing a baby blue suit that matches perfectly with the woman's golden and blue dress. Who would have thought that the 80's baby blue suit would be back in style? Gucci did! And boy were they right! In this next ad, it shows the amount of sex appeal that Gucci tries to convey sex. I find it really unbelievable that in an ad for a magazine for their clothing line, that they do not even have a picture of their clothes! The risque ads of Gucci have gotten them into trouble at different times throughout the decades. Sometimes, they make Gucci take down some of their sexy billboards. Now we will move onto their most notable designs, the bags and purses. Most of their handbags are neutral and light in color. They want to give off a very clean look when it comes to the purses. This purse to the left is a pure beauty. Most of Gucci's purses have only gold on them, but this one is special because it has silver. Some of the other handbags that Gucci offers have their name brand written all over it, but this one is very subtle. This brand is only for the rich, much like every other high fashion name brand piece. This one bag will set you back about $2000. That's right, two grand! Only the rich and famous are able to afford the name of Gucci. HERE is a link to the main website, so you can see if anything sparks your eye there!

Fendi
Simply Fendi,
Fendi is a high fashion line mostly known for their handbags. They are based in Italy, the fashion capital of the world. They specialize in furs, eye wear, bags, and timeless pieces. Lets take a look at some of their designs and I will tell you what I think of the designs. First off, lets take a look at the picture to the left. As you can see the woman has on a burgandy dress with black and gray accents. This dress is very high fashion and would look great on absolutely anyone! This dress is designed to fall right above the knee, careful not to look slutty to the eye. While still being sexy, Fendi wants to keep the respect that they have received from numerous, huge, fashion houses. Fendi is among the top of the top. Back to the dress, notice how there is a minor slit in it. Most of the apparel from Fendi has minor little slits in them just to show enough skin, but not too much. Now that we have carefully looked at the dress, we will now examine one of their best sellers, the handbag. Here we go! Here is one of the biggest selling Fendi bags. This bag is so so so gorgeous. It is complete with diamond accents. This baguette would look good on ANYONE'S shoulder. This bag was designed in 1999, and continues to be one of the most sold bags in Fendi history. You can see why. I mean, this bag will match with virtually any outfit that you could put on. It has the white, black, gray, and even diamonds! That's right, real diamonds. As you can probably tell, this bag is very pricey. Fendi is one of the most expensive brands for clothing and handbags that is out there. Their normal price range for a romper or something is about $1000! That is right, a whole grand. This purse that you see right here sells for over $1000. Fendi is a brand for the rich and most elite people out there. Normal people simply cannot afford to buy the name of Fendi. To look at some more of Fendi's designs, take a look at this WEBSITE!!

Chanel
Meet CoCo,
CoCo Chanel, founder of the huge high fashion chain, is a very wealthy woman. You can see her trademarked double CC everywhere! Chanel is so hot, all of the celebrities have at least one piece of this historic designer and design name. Chanel is seen on the red carpet all of the time. Lets take a little look at the past of this spectacular brand.
CoCo Chanel is originally known for her Chanel suit, Chanel jacket, bell bottoms, and the Chanel No. 5 perfume. Coco Chanel opened her first store and launched her very first line in 1912 in France. The very first type of clothing that Coco worked on were her elegant hats, that the upper class women could not get enough of.
The Chanel style is that of very high levels of sophistication. Now, we will go through and look at some of her most famous designs worn by some of the biggest celebs around the world. Below is Miley Cyrus in a Chanel original, on the red carpet to the Golden Globes. This dress is effortlessly gorgeous and looks spectacular. You can see the elegance flowing off of the dress. Coco wants to make sure that none of her designs are thought of as too revealing or too racy. Chanel tries to use neutral colors that do not overwhelm the design of the dress. Most of her designs are in a white or cream, or a black. Chanel makes sure that every single one of her designs is overseen by her, to make sure that everything is just the way that she wants it to be. She will not put her name on anything that is not above par when talking on the fashion level. Lets take another look at some more of Chanel's red carpet looks. To the right is Gwyneth Paltrow in Chanel from head to toe. Once again, Chanel is big in black. No bright colors, because it is believed that it will take away from the look. Chanel is very very pricey, so if you do not have extra money laying around, you will not be able to afford it. A typical dress from Chanel is said to range from $1000-$5000. You simply cannot match the uniqueness of the design. Now that we have looked at some of the red carpet looks, lets take a peak at some shoes that are designed by Coco. To the left are a dramatic old English remake. They are very high fashion, and will look good with about anything. Once again, notice the colors of the shoe. All very neutral colors or black.
Chanel is a designer that everyone wishes they could own a piece of, but the price simply makes it impossible. If you ever have a lot of extra money, and want a high fashion piece, go Chanel all the way. :)

Vera Wang: A+ Designer
Meet Vera,
Vera Wang: Who is this mystery woman? If you have never heard of her, you must be living in a bubble. Vera Wang may not be a brand new designer, but she sure is a good one! She has dressed some of the A-list stars on the red carpet. She has dressed celebrities ranging from Cate Blanchett to Jennifer Hudson. She has also dressed oodles of different brides. Some of them include Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey and Uma Thurman. She also designs and dresses figure skating outfits. She has designed for huge names in the sport like, Nancy Kerrigan, Evan Lysacek, Michelle Kwan, Sasha Coen. This list could go on and on and never end.
She recently opened a new Vera Wang store in Los Angeles. A lot of stars have been spotted shopping there.
Enough about the people who wear her designs, lets get to know Vera a little better. Lets take a look at some of her designs that many have fallen in love with. To start off, here is a link to a bio about Vera.
Design #1: To the left is one of the most gorgeous wedding dresses out there. This dress was worn by Jennifer Lopez when she got married. The top is a form fitting, deep scoop neck. There are some green accents within the dress that are not visible by looking at the picture only. There are a little bit of green glimmer diamonds located on the top of the dress. This dress also has the green ribbon which is wrapped around the waste of the dress. Surprisingly, the green goes with the dress very well. You can tell that Vera is a pro because not many people would think to put that color of green onto a wedding dress, let along get the dress to be worn by Jennifer Lopez! The bottom of the dress goes down and forms to somewhat of a princess ballgown look. The bottom is all lace on the very top layer. Once again, this dress is one of the prettiest that I have seen. The lace at the bottom of this dress completes the look and will have the bride looking like a million bucks!
Design #2
The dress directly to the right is red carpet dress worn by Beyonce herself! This dress is dazzling and has just the right amount of sexy. Beyonce is known for her curvacious body, but even with this form fitting gown, it gives a slimming effect. This dress got a lot of publicity on shows after the red carpet appearance. E! said that she won the best dressed award. This dress is simply spectacular.

Calvin Klein
Meet Calvin Klein,
I've always had a clear design philosophy and point of view about being modern, sophisticated, sexy, clean and minimal. They all apply to my design esthetic. -- Calvin Klein in Women's Wear Daily.
Calvin Klein is a name virtually everyone in the world has heard of. Back in the 1970's Klein launched a designer jeans line. His line was low priced so that nearly everyone could afford to own a piece of his closet. There was a lot of controversy that swirled around his racy ads. Brooke Shields was one of the very first models to be represented in an ad. What all does Calvin Klein design? Here is a short list.
+Underwear
+Shoes and Accessories
+Fragrances
+Kids clothing
+Women's clothing
+Men's Clothing
HERE is a link to the official Calvin Klein website for merchandise.
Now, lets take a look at some of his designs. Some of them are regular, everyday clothing, and some of them are more on the high fashion side.
First off, lets look at some of his jeans that he sells. Pictured to the right is Kate Bosworth modeling a classic pair of jeans. This ad is not very racy, and is mild in sex appeal. Calvin Klein's jeans are praised for the comfort level of the people who wear them. Klein is said to have had the best eye for what fits the womanly figure the best. He also designs a lot of different clothing for women. He makes bras, underwear, and different fragrances.
Now we will take a look at some of the clothing that Klein offers for the male gender. Many designers worry about only women when it comes to making and thinking up different designs, but Calvin Klein has an eye for all different clothes. Below, is a racy ad for male underwear. Many can see why this ad would be called racy, but to most women, it looks pretty good. Calvin Klein is very well known for his underwear line. Although they are not sold at retail places like Walmart and Target, they can be found in places such as Macy's and Dilliards. Underwear is an essential for nearly everyone in the world. Wearing the name brand of Calvin Klein is just an extra perk in making you feel better about yourself.
Shoes are also a big part of the Calvin Klein name. Pretty much, Calvin Klein makes anything that a man or woman would ever need. Most of the clothes on the line are fairly affordable. If you don't own a piece of clothing from this designer, I highly suggest that you go out and buy something!

Meet Betsey Johnson,
Betsey Johnson is a designer of many things. For this designer, we will be looking at one of my favorite accessories.... PURSES! A purse can make or break anyone's outfit. Betsey Johnson makes some of the cutest purses and handbags out there! We'll take a look at some of her best projects, according to me. We will also take a look at some dresses and some shoes that she also designs. Here we go! This dress is one of my favorite ever!! It has all the girly colors in it that will make anyone want to wear Betsey Johnson!! This dress will cost about $375. She is a very expensive designer, but if you have the money, buying her designs would be very well spent money! Look at this dress, I mean, how could you not be in love with it?! Most of her designs are very practical that could be worn to a nice dinner, or just to a party to look HOTT! These next shoes are also some of my favorites. I would not recommend wearing my favorite dress with my favorite shoes, but as seperates they look amazing! These shoes are a high heel shoe with an ankle wrap to offer a little bit of extra support. The heel is not too high, but it still is high enough to make your legs look extra toned! They are a combination of zebra print mixed with the colors of a tiger. They also have cheetah print on the sole of the shoe. You would be crazy to not want these! Betsey Johnson shoes usually cost around $100. That is a very good and reasonable price for such a high fashion designer such as Betsey Johnson. Now comes one of the most obvious designs of Betsey Johnson... her purses! Now we will look at one of my personal favorites by her. Below is one of my all time favorite purses. I would buy this purse in an instant if it were within my price range. This purse is an all white, leather, with chain accents accessory.
Betsey Johnson is a very good designer who deserves more credit than is given to her. If you ever get the chance, buy a Betsey Johnson for sure!! If you want to learn more about this designer, you can go to THIS WEBSITE.
The website given is the store site, so that you can go and buy whatever you want and check out the rest of her selection! There is much more than just shoes, purses, and dresses. She also offers different pieces of jewelry, intimate clothing, and even some other accessories! Check it out for sure and you will not be disappointed.
