Meet Anna Sui,
Anna Sui started thinking about designing when she was a young girl. She would make different designs for her dolls, and then dress them up and change their hair and such. She also used to cut out pictures from magazines and refer back to them when thinking of different designs. She used these clippings as inspiration. She still does this, and refers to them as the "genius"files. Anna designs for many different celebrities. To name a few, we have Sofia Coppola, Patricia Arquette, Christina Ricci, Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff & Naomi Campbell. Now we will take a look at some of Anna's most famous designs that have been seen all over the latest stars!
These dresses to the left are some of my very favorites out of any of the different designers clothes that I have looked at. I especially love the dress on the far left. It is a mix of black and gray, with some added sparkle. I immediately fell in love with this dress. If I could afford it, I would buy it today. The problem with looking at high fashion designers is the price you have to pay for the name. The dress on the left will run about $850. That price is out of most people's price ranges. The dress on the right is not one of my favorites, but it is still really cute. That dress will cost you about $350. Both are very expensive, but worth the money if you have it to spend. Now lets take a look at a few more designs that Anna has in her closet. The look directly to the right is a punk inspired outfit that Anna had during a fashion show in October of last year. Anna varies from look to look. She doesn't really have just one genre that she designs in. The fact that she is so versatile is a big plus to the people who she sells her clothes to.
Not only does Anna Sui make high fashion clothes at outrageous prices, but she also has an affordable line at Target. These clothes still have the high fashion look, but are at a much cheaper price, so that anyone can afford to be wearing a name brand. Everyone loves it when a big name fashion designer brings their ideas back to reality so that more than the super rich can wear their brand. Anna Sui is one of the best designers that I have looked at thus far. I hope that she continues to design for Target, so that maybe someday I can make my way there and buy a part of her designing history! Look at her WEBSITE!
